I went to one too. Being in a room with so many comrades was indescribable. For just one brief moment I felt like anything really was possible. I had a socialist city council member from the same town as me recognize me in the crowd and come over to thank me for my agitating efforts, and this was before I even started the Union drive or really fleshed out my understanding of theory. He was just stoked to see someone that cared enough to speak in public about the shit we need to be doing.

Gah, that feeling of being in a space with 300 people, all wanting to be a force for change and believing that we're going to make it happen. That had to be an awesome moment with the city council member!

Nina Turner and Cornell West were at the event I attended, and it was awesome seeing people of all ages (especially white boomers) cheering for racial justice, universal healthcare, and a federal jobs guarantee.

Imagine 3000. It was incredible and I hold onto those couple hours and cherish them and try to remember that a better world is possible. Sadly I broke the phone I had videos of it on and the only place I posted them was to the old sub :sadness:
