    I haven’t read any conservative takes on the current situation but my dad, who is largely a weather vane for conservatives thought, warmed up to putin a lot during trumps presidency ostensibly bc of their relatively friendly relationship .

    I remember him saying “putins just doing what’s best for his country and that’s all you can really ask in a leader” back in, idk, 2018 or so

    I’m actually interested to ask him what his thoughts are now lol

    E: I should add, he’s not much on the conspiracy shit but I have family who thinks trump is ruling america from the shadow govt and biden is just a puppet to prevent civil war 2, so I’d love to know what extremely incoherent shit they’ll cook up over this
