it was one of the trending twitter topics, I think it basically boiled down to one of the official russian science guys saying "if you keep planning to sanctioning and cutting us out of the EU who's going to keep the ISS maintained enough to crash in a controlled manner and not into a continent" and everyone interpreting it as "HE'S GOING TO USE THE ISS TO KINETICALLY BOMBARD US!" or some shit
