    TL;DR this Marx quote from The Paris Commune, applied to industry rather than state machinery:

    [T]he working class cannot simply lay hold of the ready-made state machinery, and wield it for its own purposes.

    Capitalist industry serves the interest of capital. Any post-revolution society must necessarily examine the conditions in each industry, and each industry as such, and determine what changes could or should be made.
