I mean ngl this doesn't feel like dementia so much as him trying really hard to either not shove his entire foot in his mouth or say the quiet part out loud. Like, if he knew he could say slurs & dehumanize Palestinians and no one would care then I feel like he wouldn't have to hesitate as much
not what it looks like to me. this looks like the dementia version of a drunk/stoned person losing their train of thought in the middle of a sentence. you know, when you suddenly remember nothing. you know you were gonna say something, you know people are waiting for it to come out, but suddenly you're not even sure if you have a head.
