I feel like I've exhausted my go to's. I might have never reached the end of them if it weren't for the pandemic, but binge watching a few stupid channels for weeks at a time is how I passed the days. I've unfortunately watched pretty much the entire catalog of Game Grumps now, and while I'm not proud it's where I'm at.
I've also watched all of Exutb1a, polygon, and Soviet womble. I tried Markiplier and while I like his series with guests I'm not a fan of his solo videos. Like every good leftist I've consumed my fair share of video essays but that's really not the vibe I'm after.
Anyone have good casual viewing/funny channels they recommend?
this old house releases full episodes every week (on their own site, not youtube).
stud pack - they're building a house right now.
kirsten dirksen - she tours cool houses.
dr geoff lindsey - cool stuff about english phonology.
casual navigation - ship stuff explained.
simon roper - interesting stuff about mainly old english.
k klein - also about linguistics, p good.
nick zentner - US west coast geology, mainly washington state geology. has a huge backlog. some of his stuff is on the washington state university youtube channel, most on his own channel.
historia civilis - mainly roman history, with low budget pixel graphics that can be hilarious sometimes.
Oh... sounds...
