The 3D cutscenes were pretty meh tbh, so I'm with you there. As for the soundtrack, I had no issues with it, though the SNES OST has more charm for sure
I'm not sure how to describe it. Ultra's sounds more... frizzy? Cheap? Busy? Lo-fi and not in a good way? As opposed to the more "crisp" definition in the original. I think these twoversion s highlight this.
Maybe that's just me being nostalgic for the SNES version soundfont.
