Climate report says “worst yet.” I am unfazed. :agony-shivering: (kind of concerning in itself… :deeper-sadness:)

"Today’s IPCC report is an atlas of human suffering and a damning indictment of failed climate leadership," United Nations secretary-general Antonio Guterres said.

"This abdication of leadership is criminal. The world's biggest polluters are guilty of arson of our only home." Delaying not an option, IPCC says

"I know people everywhere are anxious and angry," Mr Guterres said. "I am too. Now is the time to turn rage into action."

I just try not to think about climate stuff right now. I feel far too powerless and overwhelmed with it

I kind of feel that way about everything honestly. There’s too much going on that could harm millions, if not billions, of people. I’ve kind of checked out. I just realized I hadn’t been on this website for about a year. I figure the best thing I can do is volunteer at a food bank or donate my money to comrades in need. Don’t really know what else to do.

That's definitely understandable. Finding things that are productive in the mean time is good to counter those doomer vibes

I'm sure a military conflict won't do anything to impact this given how efficient and good for the environment military machines are
