Radical mutual aid. IMO, it’s the way forward. The vast majority agree with it. Doesn’t matter if you’re a Muslim, a Hindu, an atheist, a Christian, a Lib, a Republican, or any shade of Communist, everyone agrees helping people is good. It’s the one common thread we all have. I think there’s hope yet. Just gotta do the work.
I kind of feel that way about everything honestly. There’s too much going on that could harm millions, if not billions, of people. I’ve kind of checked out. I just realized I hadn’t been on this website for about a year. I figure the best thing I can do is volunteer at a food bank or donate my money to comrades in need. Don’t really know what else to do.
I never remember really hearing about Russia and Putin in leftist discourse outside of Trump being a puppet. So I’m unfortunately grossly uninformed about everything. I feel like I’ve been doomscrolling for the past couple days. I thought he wouldn’t invade and now I’m worried he’s going to actually use a nuke somewhere… I hope I’m wrong.
Yeah, I feel ya. I’m quite introverted and quarantine wasn’t such a huge deal to me, but even I’m starting to get the “itch” to go somewhere and just escape.
All I’m remembering about Disneyland right now is the super long lines. 😂
