ugh i hate shit like that. one of the meat markets i worked in basically got cut in half. walls swallowed up most of our work space, leaving us basically a narrow refridgerated corridor. we had to process while they were doing construction too which i'm sure was veeeery illegal
most def. think the company was just rolling the dice, basically refusing to lose even a dollar of sales even though other departments got a week off. there was just a clear plastic tarp. no drop ceiling, a single ceiling cooler...workers in and out. say it with me fuck retail
