CW: breaking of volcel pledge, also cringe topic, but if you need a break from war stuff, here you go

Edit: I realize now that the boyfriends think it is bjs are demeaning. I originally thought that she was saying the boyfriends thought it was demeaning not to get bjs. Lmao. That makes this even more intriguing

Ngl those sound like some sad marriages. Barely even having sex with your spouse? Maybe I'm just overly horny but that seems incredibly sad.

:sadness: sometimes you just stay together because your personalities have become compatible and you are both too poor and mutually financially interdependent

Oh no, I get that. But these relationships are being framed as the ideal, that's what I have issue with

I mean, we've been parents for barely a month and I'm already understanding the bone-weary tiredness that eats away at a healthy sex life. But that's not really about the fidelity part of marriage, which is what really transforms a legally-binding roommate into a marital partner.

Like, why are my wife and I not grabbing tail on the side if all we care about is the economics of marriage? Some couples certainly do. But the real emotional injury about infidelity isn't legalistic.
