That being said, the SMT mainline games are way better mechanically and discard almost all of that at minimum. Some of the best JRPG “kill god” games. Honestly, SMT Mainline is way better. It’s just harder to recommend to normies who can’t handle a difficult JRPG. Once again, the inverse relationship between quality and popularity raises its heads. link
