It seems pretty clear that this thing is here to stay, and the few remaining zero covid countries are gradually loosening restrictions. I’m getting very doomer sitting here realizing this thing is probably not going to ever going away. So how are you adapting to the new reality and living with covid while trying to stay healthy?

    Different viruses, different time period with different circumstances. We live in a densely populated, highly mobile world now with travel the easiest it's ever been. Couple that with a virus that spreads faster and has a higher kill rate than influenza ever did and you get our current mess

      I don't know it seems to have barely changed anything at a societal level and it's not like the dead are at an unmanageable level. the system is doing fine

        The dead are at an unmanageable level, where I live there are so many sick that we can't get our stock because there aren't enough people to deliver it.
