There was a theory that we would go from post-scarcity capitalism into communism naturally. Problem is: they failed to consider that capitalists would just manufacture scarcity ad perpetumm, which is what they did.

I really understand the mindset of those first French revolutionaries that went into the aristocratic mansions.
