"I have a proposition for the Communists. So typically most of the Communists I know are not big fans of AI, but if you think about it, AI is actually the fastest path to communism.

"So if implemented correctly, AI could actually theoretically solve for abundance.

"Like, we could totally get to a situation where nobody has to work—everybody is provided for with a comfortable state of being, comfortable living.

"AI could automate all the farming, weed out systematic corruption, thereby bringing us close as possible to genuine equality.

"So, basically, everything that everybody loves about communism but without the collective farm, 'cause let's be real, enforced farming is really not a vibe."

I actually agree with Grimes. Let's seize the state apparatus, wrest it from the hands of the bourgeoisie, and destroy the old state. In place of it, build the proletarian state. This state will foster technological developments, and that will include research into A.I. and its possible uses in advancing socialism towards communism.

That's what she meant, right? Definitely not just, like, doing nothing, and hoping bourgeois "technology" hastens a post-capitalist future?

It's Paul Cockshott. His videos on what a moneyless society could actually look like really helped me advance my ideology beyond anticapitalism. Sucks that he sucks.

I really understand the mindset of those first French revolutionaries that went into the aristocratic mansions. They wrestled with knowing such disgusting decadence existed alongside and because of starvation outside of it. They looked at the depraved powdered freaks in front of them, full Disney Adults, and nothing made sense except finding a merciful way to remove the threat. I totally get why they just went down the line feeding La Madame whoever enabled that aristocracy to exist.

There shouldn't be a world in which children go hungry so that Grimes can pretend she's a space princess. Absolutely nothing, nothing, the masses could do to her class would rival the daily terror they force on us to engorge themselves. No compassion, no compassion, she'd be useless on a farm anyway so not even that excuse.

There was a theory that we would go from post-scarcity capitalism into communism naturally. Problem is: they failed to consider that capitalists would just manufacture scarcity ad perpetumm, which is what they did.

    Basic fundamentals.

Any theory, any analysis, you’d know where the problems lie. Like that scene from Grapes of Wrath where they destroy oranges in front of hungry people.

I mean she’s as baby brained as any other lib who thinks the Person-crushing-blood-machine could be used for good, instead of investigating why we have a Person-crushing-blood-machine that pollutes the air, poisons the water, and only produces useless things like paper doilies.

It doesn't just produce useless things. It consumes energy and expels waste carbon while producing answers to math busywork to indicate a space on a blockchain ledger.

One of the things I found fascinating about The Communist Manifesto was Marx's insight into automation and intellectual property way back in the 1800's, but you're totally innovating there, Grimes.

I also found it funny how the scary book right wingers kept telling me to read was about 10 pages of saying we need to seize the means of production and then a whole bunch of dry talk about IP.🤣

love how celebs can think that they've invented doing economic planning on the computer, and also the concept of farming automation. Grimes is gonna lose her shit when she finds out about the combine harvester

What combines already drive themselves? Is driving in a flat field with minimal turns really easy to automate? Who'd a thunk 🤔

What drives me insane is that she thinks she knows what she's talking about. The equation for scarcity is already solved and has logistics anyway, it's called Walmart.

She has been thoroughly infested with :my-hero: 's :brainworms: , up to and including being gaslit into believing that she was just a figment of his memory as part of his narcissistic solipsistic "simulation" fantasy and conjured specifically to serve and obey him.

With that in mind, she seems as if she might be trying to be less bazinga but is unfortunately probably just kind of crawling around in any direction that seems to get her attention.

I guess somebody send her some stuff on cyber-syn? It's not that I don't like A.I., it's just that what we use now is not A.I. and even talking about it as if it is is nonsense.
