This is framed as "good news" in the article because of pushback. That's like saying that the sexually predatory behavior at Activision-Blizzard was good news because there was, eventually, pushback to it. :what-the-hell:

        As an aside, going back to American Psycho, it really is disturbing that some people that I know in real life really do admire and emulate Patrick Bateman and completely missed the narrative implication that he was a pathetic empty nothing.

          reading the book should be a requirement to speak on American Psycho. it's literally pages and pages of Bateman going :so-true: about the brands people own and not giving a shit about being mistaken for somebody else

      yes, it's a great character drama/study about masculinity and office culture
