They conflated two different studies when they said the gates foundation ran a study to test vaccination willingness on a malaria vaccine that was still pending FDA approval.

The study examining public health/vaccination wilingness was with gardasil or some other classic HPV vaccine that'd been approved for a while, and it was run in India. The malaria vaccine study was a trial that was part of the FDA approval process, and it was run somewhere in sub-saharan Africa.

Like, this shit is public. It's not hard to get this right. So I've learned to double-check any wild claims I hear when I listen, lest I wind up parrotting dumb shit. There's also plenty of public info about how eugenicist the gates foundation is (literally Gates's OWN WORDS ABOUT BIRTH RATES), and how the amerikkkan global health apparatus has been abused by the CIA to the detriment of the global south (hunt for Osama and all that). We don't need to make shit up, and when we do it damages credibility.

Combine that with Liz's transphobia and Brace's edgy ironic problematic discourse on every episode and I only listen when they do interesting subjects.

Site search is letting me down but she tweeted out some transphobic shit a couple years ago. I'll just have to hope someone who remembers it better than me can link it.

personally I can't stand the show and its whole ethos. it's been full blown conspiracy shit from the start. It annoys me that it's spoken of so positively by so many marxists.

There's no shortage of examples of state institutions hiding their true intentions behind a humanitarian mission, there's no shortage of capitalists using their wealth or intelligence connections to manipulate laws or completely disregard them, but you can't say you're concerned with systemic analysis when all you focus on is pretty much conspiracy shit.

there's too many left podcasts out there that pull in absurd amounts of money and leave their audiences dumber for it. trueanon is one of them.
