Back when Rotten.com was a thing and I was a youngling on the internet I remember seeing a crime scene photo from Mexico (maybe farther South, its been forever) that might have been the thing that got me to stop visiting that site.
There was a body of a homeless guy under a tarp with his hand just barely visible and his dog was lying down next to his hand.
I spent a bit of time looking at gruesome things there, as a way to kind of shake myself out of complacent normalcy from a life lacking in any real tragedy but that image pops into my brain every now and then and its just gutting every time.
