    ungrateful little brats, you brought them into this world amd they dare question your absolute authority over them? spend that college fund on somthing nice for yourself and just hand your children over to the military when they turn 18 and are no longer your problem.

          The pledge is a family event. I'd never use it as a punishment. It's just something we say before special moments.
