Are you coworkers complete inhumane dumdums?
Or maybe you can reason with them
I don't want to speak for OP but in regards to retail, yes to the first and no to the second. You sit on a chair without permission and your ass is getting written up. Minimum wage work is relentlessly micromanaged in this way.
Can you pay out of pocket for an urgent care? I wonder if one of their doctors could do it for you. Sounds easy enough.
:this:
TBH it depends on the urgent care doctor, but I feel like most would be amenable to just writing a doctor's note for a chair so you can sit down at work.
Could you try !mutual_aid@hexbear.net and see if someone could help you out? I'd give you some money but I won't get paid for another week.
Fair enough, I just don't want to see you suffer. There's good comrades on here who will help out with no strings attached. Someone, and I forgot who it was I'm sorry, paid off my car insurance for a year in mutualaid.
Have you worked at a pharmacy before? If you are already experiencing difficulties with leg pain, it may not be a good fit for you unless they specifically need you in a sitting capacity (and can give it to you in writing that they will not need you to flex from that job description)
can't tell you without knowing what country you're in
can give you info for the UK:
They are printed on headed stationary following a template format, with the surgery name, address, number, and phone number on them
They are also signed by the doctor and in some cases stamped
It isn't hard to make a convincing looking fake, but if they phone the surgery to confirm, you are royally fucked because it's a criminal offense to make counterfeitsYour coworkers are either libertarians or they're lying to you to lend legitimacy to their complaints.
