This isnt even to mention that infinite population growth is a capitalist meme anyway. Why would the human population ever expand beyond say 20 billion, eventually everyone is gonna have a low number of kids and the population is gonna reach stability, why too wouldnt the same happen to any aliens. And if you discovered biological immortality, it would probably only extend the average lifespan to like 1000 years before the random chance of getting hit by a bus or whatever catches up with you. Youd have a population equilibbrium much higher, but still way wayyyyy lower than the solar system’s capacity. There is literally just no reason to expand.

Likewise, any non-psychotic civilization would gladly embrace artificial intelligence as part of their civilization. The problem is with the current brainworm AI is viewed as build-your-own-slave, and people's fear of them ultimately stem from the fear of them gaining the upper hand and did to us what we did to them.
