You could probably spoof below minimum requirements to get around a forced update

Or you could switch to Linux :side-eye-1: :side-eye-2: something which I definitely need to get around to but am too ingrained in the mac pro tools ecosystem for it not to be rough :sadness:

Them forcing the update on me will be the final straw for me to move my desktop to Linux. I've been getting used to it on my laptop for a few months now.

lmao I 100% depend on Xcode for freelance work and I'm currently struggling to get a MacOS VM with GPU passthrough on arch Linux because I broke the SSD with the hackintosh partition and I don't want to update clover to opencore, I'd recommend it but it seems like it has all sorts of issues and I'm starting to regret my decision. I'm probably going to bite the bullet and get a Mac mini eventually but not today.

I mean Ardour is a pretty fantastic Pro Tools-esque alternative, but I'm guessing you're in the groove with some nice VSTs you'd have trouble replacing.

I had a 965BE and a 550ti back when they were current, cool to see them still out there.

Sorry to disappoint but it's just AIDA64 incorrectly detecting the mobo's floppy drive support as having a floppy drive.

I once did consider adding a 1.44 MB floppy drive to it, but I already used up both of the 5.25inch bays. (A lightscribe DVD-RW and a hard drive mount)

If it still runs what's the problem, wish people would accept this about tech in general. I have a lga775 that still works and I use it for old gaming. The most demanding game I play is probably modded Oblivion.
