"We did the last one and things ended up fine for us."
They won't need a reason.
This did give right wing idiots plenty to talk about on youtube. And teenage me at the time watched plenty of those. If I remembered correctly, the thing that really pushed me to that direction was a short film of sorts of an organization named "SCUM", it's content is just two young woman with a pistol, sneaking up to some middle aged dude resting on a chair, shooting him in the head then danced as he slumped over. I was very distressed by it and thought it could happen to me.
Eventually they weirded me out and I snapped out of it. Mostly because they:
Also I looked at leftist videos against them out of curiosity. Dismissively at first. Eventually the points they made did stick.
What pushed me across "enlightened centrism" was my country suddenly became the enemy of the west within a year for no apparent reason. When the entire internet suddenly turned hostile, leftist spaces became the few places that I can browse without seeing or receiving hate. Those spaces always have people posting links to theory and that's that. (I guess there's also the nationalist/fash circle of my country but they've always disgusted me with their obsession on hating neighbors, militarism and anti-lgbt stance even back when I was daily watching sargon of akkad)
Checked out that page and it looks pretty alright.
Had stuff like Holodomor listed but at the very least it did note whether it's intentional or not is disputed. And if it's unintentional, it doesn't constitute as a genocide.
Didn't see any bullcrap like Uyghur genocide on there. I guess it would be really embarrassing to write "0" in "Estimated Killings" and have it placed next to events where millions died.
(Nevermind, went to the Talk page for fun and libs were mad Tibetan and Uyghur "genocide" was removed. Some guy reminded them literally everything else had death tolls listed but these don't. At least seeing the Hasbara bots using the usual arguments "They are not trying to destroy Gaza, they are trying to destroy Hamas, which are terrorists!" getting shut down was fun)
Not your typical Ukrainian flag lib on twitter, Drew is the kind of person that printed out a huge sign with "Fuck you Xi" in Chinese and carried it into his local chinatown to argue with the people living there, just so he can have this persecution complex fulfilled.
Good. I think even if PSL got like 3% vote, it would give both parties a big scare
I believed it mostly because nearly all US backed regime changes under Trump(Cuba, Bolivia, Venezuela, Hong Kong) has been failures. With exception of Pakistan being successful.
I'm not saying he'll have better policy, no, I firmly hold the opinion that US elections have zero impact on its foreign policy, rather Trump admin is worse at executing it.
My identification guide:
Frog? I would have guessed logitech mouse.
This was all the rage in mid-late 2000s. Remember all the phone themes you could download/buy? Cool cars, knife and blood, barbie etc.
Seems like legibility simply isn't a concern back then.
They expect the players to earn the right to spend money on something?
Star Citizen players are truly built different.
Got it. I think my problem is that my definition for burrito is exactly "stuff wrapped it in a tortilla". Too used to crappy food.
I'm not a vegan so maybe that's why I'm not getting it. I am very confused right now.
Is there something wrong with the ingredients? Everything looks vegan to me, except the sauce which we have no idea what could be in there.
Or does that not taste good? Because that seems to be something I wouldn't mind eating. Or probably it's just because I love anything with mushrooms in it.
Got it. Thanks comrade.
No. Do you have a link?
This visa things has been going on for a few years now.
Used to familiar with a biotech company in china, they were working with an american firm to do testing and needed to send about 30 employees over. Despite having invitations from the american company and all documents in order, around half of them got rejected with no stated reason. (Apparently the policy is that they do not need to give a reason to reject visa) Almost like they needed to hit a certain rejection quota.
I've visited a handful of countries myself. US, by a long shot, is the hardest to get a visa from. Even with a visa, they had the most strict customs to pass through, treating everyone as a possible threat/illegal migration risk. And I've been led to a separate room and been told to wait more than once.(I'm probably on a list or something) Love the place but I'm not planning on visiting any time soon.
