I posted about it before but today the GRPD is planning on releasing the footage of the killing of Patrick. The city's bringing in cops from around the state and made sure to do it during a stormy day. I'm worried someones going to try and be the next Rittenhouse either tonight or Friday with how people are posturing online.
Last night activists pleaded with city officials to do the right thing but they keep bussing in police officers.
It infuriates me that this isn't national news yet.
Edit: the videos out and it's as bad as you imagined.
"The police officer involved in this by contract has 72 hours to make a statement to the Michigan State Police," Winstrom said. "That's common in the police field to give the officer two full sleep cycles so they can give a clear, truthful response to the questions."
Add to the list of "didn't know that but of course it is"
Damn wonder why the cops' victims and suspects don't get that courtesy
Lol when asked, Sergeant Dipshit explained that "they need to talk to victims and suspects right away so they give clear, truthful answers"
They also confiscated all cellphone and ring doorbell videos from the neighborhood. It's definitely bad and they chose to release the footage today because it's supposed to be downpouring rain all night.
