To expand on this you can also play Random battles. They come up with various viable movesets/abilities/items for each Pokemon and set the algos so it makes sense. No Charizard with Fire Blast/Flamethrower/Ember/Tackle movesets They also weight the pokes levels so quagsire and mewtwo can both be competitive. Fun stuff.
