I know they fired a bunch of key staff writers in August for trying to unionize and I haven't been back till now, and they seem to be publishing again. Anyone follow the story?
NJR fired a bunch of people for trying to make the supposed ‘workers cooperative’ paper an actual cooperative instead of an NJR-dictatorship. He then got bullied into apologising, but by then everyone involved was through with him, and moved onto other projects.
NJR remains in control of CA. It occasionally publishes things. Whenever he posts, he gets bullied for how he turned into the cutthroat capitalist he cosplays as.
The thing that makes it kind of complicated in this case is that it's owned by his parents. CA isn't self sustaining or profitable. They were trying to make a workers cooperative out of a thing that is just a fake job NJR's rich parents set up for him.
