Do they really think China is gonna just stick with capitalism as it says outright that it plans to transition? Do they think that this video, conflicting with the imperial narrative, is critical enough to be a net benefit against China?

Not going to watch the video, but it is in the interest of sectors of finance capital (and physical capital) to try and keep capital flows between China and the West open so they can make profits. They care more about next quarter's profits than the long-term historical struggle.
They want to get as geopolitically close as possible to war with China without actually starting a war with China.
