    certain plants and their soil microbes are pretty good and economical for improving indoor AQ, especially with respect to weird xenobiotics like formaldehyde that are in upholstery, book/wood adhesives, gas appliance releases. lean in to the biophilia. obviously, also routinely change air filters and service HVAC systems is a given.... though maintenance of such things can be outside of the power of a resident.
