      Castro and Mao once fought eachother in a boxing match hosted in North Vietnam by Ho Chi Minh. Muhammad Ali was there.

      dont think they ever did, china and cuba have maintained good relations ever since the revolution, which is quite interesting considering the ideological shifts in sino-soviet split as well as Deng's market liberalization

      castro respected the long march and the military achievements of the CPC a lot, but criticized mao in his autobiography for "going too far to the left", overall calling him a "great revolutionary who made grave errors". cuba remained a lot closer to the soviet bloc during the cold war of course, but i am also not aware of any formal fight between the two. castro laid a wreath at mao's tomb during his visit to china in the 90s
