You might have heard part of it from "mao zedong propaganda music Red Sun in the Sky".

First performed in Korean by Yanbian(ethnic Korean) song and dance troupe in 1971. Later translated to Chinese. This version is performed by 朱桦 in 1991. I'm fairly certain this video is pitched up/sped up by 10% compared to the 1991 recording.(Original length is 2:18, this video is 2:05) But having played it so many times I'm more used to this pitched up version.

Lyrics is about how the people of Yanbian loves mao and wishes him to live forever. Which is kinda cringe but given the period(cultral revolution) it's understandable.

You speak of your "devotion" to me. Perhaps it was just a chance phrase. Perhaps. . . . But if the phrase was not accidental I would advise you to discard the "principle" of devotion to persons. It is not the Bolshevik way. Be devoted to the working class, its Party, its state. That is a fine and useful thing. But do not confuse it with devotion to persons, this vain and useless bauble of weak-minded intellectuals.
