    I must say, as an eastern european I feel very dissapointed by your western perspective on the topic. You're focusing so much on the American influance, that you wash blame off Russia, which is by far the biggest threat for the rest of Europe right now. Not to mention how far-right, nationalistic and imperialistic Russia is.

    Could someone explain to me why eastern Europeans are so scared of Russia? Like, has there ever actually been a realistic threat of Russia invading any eastern European countries, or is it all just fearmongering?
