The revised graphic on https://origins.sonicthehedgehog.com/ makes a little more sense.
The graph layout is just needlesssly confusing and redundant and just screams "salaryman drafting things in Excel at the last minute".
There are too many mistakes to pick at with this, but what it's trying to communicate is that if you pre-order either edition, you get the start dash pack which is:
100 bonus coins
Early unlock for mirror mode
Letterbox background
If you get the standard edition without pre-order, you'd need the premium fun pack to be 'content complete'. You don't need the start dash pack in this case as mirror mode is unlockable, and the coins are consumables that you earn in game anyway.
If you get the deluxe edition without pre-order, you'd only need the start dash pack for the letterbox background to be 'content complete'.
The only sensible thing here is the Michael Jackson music which is presumably seprated as a DLC so royalties are only paid on that specific DLC's sales. You either add it as DLC to your standard order, or get the deluxe edition at any point.
But, the whole thing is designed to get you to say "fuck it, I'll just pre-order buy the deluxe edition". Classic price discrimination.
The fact that I typed any of this out is proof enough that this is a load of shit.

It isn't a revised graphic - it's six graphics you flip through like reddit gallery post. Makes more sense but they're still toting "animated main menu" as a feature worth buying the digital deluxe edition for.
Oh wow so it changed again? When I was making my comment it was pretty much the same as your original post but with some additional clarity on what you get with the pre order.

I just realized it's different on mobile, my bad.
