Hard core train gang maybe but buses are decent unless their implementation is useless or so unreliable that they don't meaningfully reduce the number of cars on a given route and just create further impediments.

That would usually be caused by a lack of bus lanes and priority right of way. I'm not unfamiliar with the North American suburban bus that has like 2 people at most during rush hour and goes to only stops in a bunch of "business parks" before returning to a ghetto.
