    The point is that prions can survive boiling and grilling... Y'know, the shit that rots your brain and turns you, and other animals that get infected, into actual zombies

    Also the sheer lack of humanity of cannibalism, no words

      Prions have to be present, first. Prion disease is extremely rare. You're not likely to contract a prion disease from some random corpse you eat off the street. Kuru only exists because of a long standing cultural practice of eating pieces of the brain of deceased loved ones for spiritual and religious purposes. Mad cow and that sheep one exist because prion infected sheep were being ground up and used as feed on an industrial level.

      TLDR;

      Eating people is fine from a health standpoint, just don't make it an intergenerational cultural tradition. IF you're going to do that do the cracker thing catholics do.
