I hate the Melvins. Buzz is fucking annoying as a person, and as a songwriter, every album they've ever put out is composed of 1, maybe 2 good songs and the rest filler. Their newer stuff is just butt rock.

    "What kind of music do you listen to?" Is very often a stupid question. There's no common thread between mitski, DEMONDICE, the Oh Hellos, video game soundtracks, anime openings, songs that were popular when I was a freshman, Yes, and King Crimson. You can make links between one or two but there's just no way to describe that.

      I just say I like punk, metal, rap, and folk and leave it at that. Feel like theres enough vagueness there that the conversation can turn to more specific "do you like this artist?" type shit

        No it isn't. Internet core is a music and aesthetic style designed to emulate the computer noises and looks from the late 90's and early aughts. Very heavily associated with the ENA animation series from Joel G., which I highly recommend.
