R5-D4 , know to his friend's as Skippy, was a force sensitive astromech droid on Tatooine in the year 0 BBY.

Upon receiving a premonition of what would happen if Luke Skywalker and his uncle purchased him instead of R2-D2 he nobly chose to destroy his own motivator.

Let his sacrifice never be forgotten.

I'd recommend Khan Academy's course on Macroeconomics just to be roughly on the same page. Sal Khan explains things clearly and without all fluff you'll see in an intro text book. But the grain of salt here is that Macroeconomics as a whole is a dark art. There is something called the Lucas critique which casts doubt on a lot of the validities of current economic models.

To summarize, if anyone is predicting the impact of a policy then it's probably bullshit but at least you'll understand the financial tools they are using and what they believe the outcome to be.

That's what's so painful about economics. It's complete bullshit, and yet, we somehow also need to understand it.

Oh nice, I remember Khan Academy when learning calculus years ago and liking his teaching style. That's great he/they do a series on economics. I realize so much of what is taught as economics now is bullshit and any Marxist critique is pushed aside and ignored, that's why it was hard to know where to start when learning about these things. Thanks.
