I might as well post my spiraling to somewhere more fitting.
The right has won the culture war for good this time, as RvW is the lynchpin for "right to privacy", which protects many other "undesirables" in the US from not being legally murdered. You know damn well that genocides are next. They are going to [redacted] all of us, and only because they think it's funny.
I just want to give up at this point, maybe if I just hide my power level and pretend to be far-right forever, I can eventually leave the US.
The Empire will vanish and all its treats with it. Its accumulated knowledge will decay and the order it has imposed will vanish. International wars will be endless; global trade will decay; population will decline; nations will lose touch with the main body of civilization. –And so matters will remain. Historical materialism, which can predict the fall, can make statements concerning the succeeding dark ages. The Empire, gentlemen, as has just been said, has stood two hundred years. The dark ages to come will endure not two centuries, but a millennium. A Second Empire will rise, but between it and our civilization will be thirty generations of suffering humanity. We must fight that.
