A while ago I saw a post somewhere on Hexbear that linked to an essay about how the liberal progressive is not a friend of the black civil rights movement. It had a title like, "the peril of liberalism" or "the crisis of progressivism" or something like that and had lines in it that reminded me of things MLK said in his "Letter from a Birmingham Jail" but were much more forceful and well defined. Does anyone else remember this post or recognize the essay I've described? Please help!

A good suggestion but @1000mH found the one I was looking for. But now that I'm liberated from my search I can set out to read this essay too!
