i mean, speaking in tongues probably wouldn't raise many eyebrows at least.
Nah it's very accessible. Now on the other hand, the album Just a Lad by Oingo Boingo would probably throw them through a loop
if you want to throw them for a loop remain in light is my album of choice
Ooooh Mao's writing but played back at 10x speed and with a melody to subliminally educate them. You'd be doing a reverse MK Ultra/Manchurian Candidate.
That is delightful, don't think I've ever listened to any of their music aside from Istanbul (Not Constantinople).
Particle Man, Birdhouse In Your Soul, and Boss Of Me (the Malcom In The Middle theme) are other well-known songs by them. I haven't gotten around to digging through their discography, though.
I forgot Particle Man was one of their songs too. Probably my favorite Tiny Toons AMV.
If you play anything other than songs about the IRA you're a coward
You can ask them a song they like and start off a Google/Spotify/Pandora playlist based on songs like the one you pick. That way you can skip songs you dislike while getting a mutual understanding of what you both like.
And then you can augment that playlist by adding songs you like to give the algorithm a better idea of what to play.
I think you're underestimating the way you can use an algorithm to move the course of their media exposure to the left.
'This song is really good. What's it called?'
'Capital by Marx, but with a lofi beat!'
There's some good stuff in this thread:
