    What an awful fucking thing to read first thing in the morning

    "I don't think we killed her," Ran Kochav, a spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces, told Kan public broadcaster. "We proposed to the Palestinians to open a swift joint probe. If we indeed killed her, we'll take responsibility, but it doesn't seem to be the case."

    THEY WERE THE ONES RAIDING THE CAMP, OF COURSE THEY SHOT HER

    This isn't the first time Palestinian journalists (in clear press vests) were targeted by IDF soldiers. What a horrible tragedy that will most likely go unanswered. I can't handle watching the video, but I don't need it to fuel my rage against fascist regimes

      It's the Israeli version of an "officer-involved shooting." NYT:

      The Israeli military said on Twitter that it was investigating the possibility that journalists had been injured, “possibly by Palestinian armed gunfire.”
