When people defending capitalism bring up "muh productivity" I kinda chuckle on the inside because we are overproducing, and a good deal of what we produce just gets wasted anyway. For example, Burberry just torching unsold merchandise to keep up its "exclusivity".

I do not give a shit about productivity, especially if it solves nothing but gives some self-righteous dipshits bragging rights.
