According to this tweet from an Overwatch character artist, the dev team doesn't even use the charts? Or apparently even know much about them?? I assume this was pushed by some out-of-touch suits but surely someone should have been able to stop this since it's such a terrible idea. A character design diversity chart system might make sense for a hero shooter, you know to make sure characters all stand out and don't overlap too much or whatever. But a diversity chart that is deadass about like how gay a character is and how much gender another one has? Unbelievably stupid, like something out a parody.

And like now that the cats out of the bag it's double shit for the devs, anytime they make a character that isn't a straight cis-white male everyone is gonna yell at that them they're pandering to please the chart.
