They'll do this instead of just reading a fucking book. All they have to do is read even the Communist Manifesto, a pamphlet I could understand at like age 12. It would take less time to read that pamphlet than to make those graphs. Surely someone smarter couldn't have done it better already. They need to reinvent the wheel as a square because reading about wheel design doesn't involve boy wizards they can self-insert as.
There is no harm in writing/creating to explore your own thoughts.

There is harm in mystifying politics into a gag from Donnie Darko. It's that an adult can't process the world they live in yet still influences it.
I fucking hate it when people drop uncited graphs in stuff. Where the fuck is he getting his data? It doesn't quite look like he totally pulled it out of his ass, there is that "n=23,684" part, but seriously, plopping down a graph with no citations is worse than useless.
Engineers suck. Well, I'm sure there's the occasional non-sucky engineer, but I've never met one.
