Also, the baby formula shortage isn't because "muh government spending" regardless of whether or not you believe it should have been done, it's because of a greedy monopoly that openly covered up severe health issues and isn't having any of the executives punished in order to dissuade future BS like that. The heart of the problem is capitalism, not government spending.
the issue could be solved with government spending though if the government just spent money to set up baby formula factories and pay people to make it. which is the immediately obvious solution after all in any sane system loads of babies being at risk of starvation would immediately be responded to by devoting resources to fix that.
