I figured, actually, and realized my mistake as soon as the comment was posted; it looked like Kwame back when he was known as "Stokely Carmichael" (at least to me).
Edit: Still, James Baldwin literally wrote a famous article against Israel and U.S. foreign policy and it was not, err, tolerant or accepting of it all, to put it mildly.
