    There's no way to stop these mass shootings without universal healthcare including mental health. That's not enough, since our basic lives are alienated and atomized and there needs to be a thousand more things done so people don't slip through the cracks. But I think universal healthcare is the best start you can reasonably make in this unjust system.

    In a sense, there is no way to stop it in the United states. Not without rooting put fascism which would require the country to collapse

    I support video game style gun laws.

    Start out with a shitty airsoft thing. After a few months and a couple of training courses or outings, you get to upgrade to a bolt action rifle. Again, some courses, some outings, a few years, and you get to upgrade again.

    You can introduce branching paths too, so you can choose to go into shotguns or sniper rifles, etc.

    By the end of your career, you have access to stuff that’d otherwise be outright banned, like fully automatics and mortars.
