Not that boring I would argue. It's a competent work as a whole, the brush strokes are a bit weird, parts of her are translucent in a kind of cool way, the background is a weird DnD elemental fey realm landscape or something for some reason... I have never found the smile very special, but that thing about the eyes following you around the room is kind of true. It works on a monitor as well, so you can open the image and walk from left to right in front of the monitor and she kind of always seems to be looking straight at you. It's cool.
Obviously living up to the legend is utterly impossible when it comes to the world's most famous painting, but I wouldn't say it's boring or bad.
Fair enough. I agree it cannot compete with many of Da Vinci's other works, and it's not my favorite painting or anything. "World's most boring painting" was a bit of an exaggeration though.
