For me it's Mashle, the Apothecary Diaries and Frieren as top Peaks.

Ragna Crimson is the hypest battle anime airing right now. The fights are way more peak than anything Solo Leveling will have until the Ants arc.

Classroom of the Elite Season 3 is my guilty pleasure. I just love the bullshit in this one.

The only two I'm watching right now are Frieren and Dungeon Meshi. The Frieren anime did actually get me to read the manga lol so I've surpassed where the anime is by now. I'd say both are pretty good (but dungeon meshi does have the problem of the author bothsidesing imperialism for that one episode!!)

If we're doing politics, I feel it has to be mentioned that Frieren also says "actually some intelligent species are just evil and the right thing to do is kill them on sight".

Yeah, that was a "wait what?" moment for me...thankfully they didn't dwell on that too long.

yeah dungeon meshi both sides it, which sucks shit but is so common i barely notice it anymore if it isn't going full killmonger

i don't watch seasonal anime, i think every time i've watched seasonal anime i've ended up horribly disappointed

though i watch the occasional episode of dungeon meshi with friends experiencing it for the first time and that's fun. the manga is great, the anime seems also very good

I'm currently only watching Mashle, which is silly but really fun, and Solo Leveling, which I do enjoy quite a bit as well. I do plan to watch Frieren, but I want to wait until only 1-2 episodes are left.

Is Ragna Crimson really that good ? I kind of overlooked that.

Ragna Crimson quickly beat out the other power fantasies of its season - the somewhat intriguing-turned-mid Returner’s Magic, the mid-turned-forgettable Berserk of Gluttony, and the fucking awful Kingdoms of Ruin - and it’s now the only one of that squad that I’d recommend anyone actually watch.

It has a decent plot that gets better every episode, characters that evolve and have conflict, and an OP main character that still actually loses.

It’s nowhere near the top of Fall 2023, not even the middle personally, but if what your craving is fast food, then I can’t think of anything better from that season.

Kingdoms of Ruin was so bad that it was peak.

Returners magic is a great Manhwa but the anime is dogshit.

Ragna Crimson has a mid start but it quickly becomes very good with its warfare stuff. I absolutely love how big battles are handled in the series with so many sides playing roles and all.

The animation is very wonky though so I would recommend reading the manga after the episode.

Just ran through the weekly Mashle, Frieren and OP so those are mine. the mashle intro goes so insanely hard.

Dungeon Meshi, everyone should watch Dungeon Meshi. Also shangri-la frontier is quite fun. Besides these I'm watching mashle, frieren and solo leveling, but I think solo leveling is kinda mid

The only one I'm up to speed with is Frieren so it wins by default but man did it jump off a cliff after the first arc. Give me more bittersweet reminiscing over missed opportunities in the past and less "Frieren fires her lazor", PLEASE.

Also everyone should watch the first two eps of Bang Brave Bang Bravern, though I can't vouch for the quality of the series overall.

I haven’t started Winter 2024 yet, cuz I like to wait. But yeah, anime still airing from Fall 2023, in order of preference and recommendation - Frieren (literally perfect), Apothecary Diaries (would be top if Frieren didn’t exist), Shangri-La Frontier (if SAO was actually good), Undead Unluck (JJK, CSM tier), Firefighter Daigo (realistic firefighter anime) Ragna Crimson (surprisingly not trash - won’t ever rewatch, but will finish the season).

I am watching a bunch but the only one I consider good is Kusuriya no Hitorigoto. I'm also watching Frieren but this second part has been quite bad and I barely care about anything, so it doesn't count

Hime-sama, Goumon no Jikan Desu is prob the one I get the most excited for each week. The permutations of one gag, with the addition of the Demon Lord and other characters, is just great fun.

Lvl 99 Villainess is dumb but I like it.
