    What’s up with the Italian?

this one is a weird one like i looked at him and i am not sure but the skirt makes me think roman so GRECOROMAN WRESTLING????

obviously fuck them for making the villains Russian and Chinese, and deciding now is the time to litigate over Hong Kong, after it’s officially returned to China. I thought we were past that with this franchise after they retconned the HK flag out of SF2.

it is fun because street fighter is pretty popular on China so i would imagine this will not be anything more than this they are from there and also they look cool even though they are evil

oh fuck i fucked up i knew she was a big buff lady, i don't know if it is muay thai because i feel like sagat who will for sure be on this game in the future tends to get that niche, but there is a lot of MMA vibes on this game so a mixed muay thai plus something else feels sensible

Dan also kinda counts as muay thai as his style is mixed so yeah my reasoning was a bit off i was guessing mostly on vibes and nationallity lmao

every time i think about japanese companies i recall sega and the yakuza series in which they made the Chinese triad dude ugly ass fuck in all releases but the chinese release, where he looks pretty good and i am pretty sure this game will be the first to be after 3rd strike, ryu is using the goro clothes, like i believe they will just not address anything at any point, and it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that the chinese release has him with the mainland flag by his name
