This whole thing is highlighting one of my central objections to live debate in general, and that is that everybody talks over each other and just sorta claims shit, and because there is never any pause to verify, or any agreement to share sources before the debate, nobody knows what the fuck each other are talking about, and everything is just kinda "in the air". They keep angrily asserting things and then demanding sources from each other, and I'm like, "yeah, you probably all should have shown your fucking sources to each other from the get-go so you at least understand what the fuck each other is saying."
If it was calm people debating rationally, you wouldn't tune in. You'd think it was a total snoozefest.
