At the risk of doing generational politics, I think the fbi might be facing the same push that major newspapers have been getting from millenials getting levers of power and zoomers entering the workforce. I'm starting to think the 5 year long fear campaign over "wokeness" has been motivated by a genuine leftward lurch from workers even in traditionally conservative institutions.
